Camila joins Community Vision as Grant Program Associate. In her role, she supports the administration and implementation of Community Vision's grantmaking programs elevating organizations working to advance social justice. For Camila, it is important that BIPOC communities are listened to and empowered to lead change. She is engaged in this work because she believes that everyone deserves a good quality of life and an opportunity to achieve their dreams. She brings to Community Vision a passion for economic equity and restorative justice. Before joining Community Vision, Camila was a fellow at the Latino Community Foundation where she worked on optimizing the internal use of Salesforce and supported the Latino Giving Circle Network program. Camila was born in Bogota, Colombia and migrated to the Bay Area at 12 years old. She holds a Bachelor's degree in sociology from the UC Berkeley and Masters degree in Urban and Public Affairs from the University of San Francisco.
