Capital Campaigns, Session 1: The Building Blocks of Fundraising and Introduction to Messaging
Thursday, March 21, 2024
9–11 AM PT
Finding it challenging to determine what you need to be ready for a fundraising campaign?
In this session, we will highlight the essential building blocks you will need for a successful fundraising campaign and specifically a capital campaign to raise funds for a real estate deal. We will focus on:
-
How to develop and deliver a strong case for giving (more on this in session two)
-
Identification, cultivation and engagement of probable major donors to make transformative gifts to your organization
-
How to inspire and mobilize your staff, board and other volunteers to be enthusiastic supporters of a fundraising effort
-
And when or whether a feasibility study is worth it
Between sessions one and two, participants will be guided in drafting their own “Inspiring Introduction to a Case for Giving,” which will be workshopped in session two.
This session will be led by BuildingBlox Consulting principal Nate Levine and Andy Kastner.

Capital Campaigns, Session 2: Creating Your Inspiring Introduction that Garners Generosity
Thursday, March 28, 2024
9–11 AM PT
Is it difficult to articulate your organization’s work in a way that is clear, concise and compelling?
Finding it challenging to clarify your organizational messaging or identify what stories to tell different types of donors?
In this webinar, we will build off the fundamentals learned in the previous session. Working with your draft inspiring introduction, you’ll receive expert feedback from the BuildingBlox team and supportive hands-on practice to help you tailor your organization’s story for any type of donor you encounter, inspiring connection and yielding audacious generosity.
Given the collaboration between Building Blox and Community Vision, we’re thinking about this through a real estate readiness lens.
This session will be led by BuildingBlox Consulting principal Nate Levine and Andy Kastner.
