Alejandro is a bilingual Colombian-American born in Connecticut and recently moved from the East Coast to support the Lending team as a Loan Officer.
He brings experience from the fintech startup space where he helped founders raise capital, lobbied for immigration and criminal legal reform at Mark Zuckerberg’s policy reform nonprofit, helped the Governor of Connecticut get re-elected on a platform to support healthcare and affordable housing, and worked at Capital One’s social impact arm to invest in social impact grants for nonprofits in areas where Capital One has an ATM, bank, or cafe.
Alejandro is the first in his family to attend college and received a near full ride at Georgetown University, where he majored in Government and minored in Justice and Peace Studies. Outside of work, Alejandro loves to support his parents’ care for cows and chickens on their farm in Colombia, enjoys attending events about art, learning about investing, playing soccer, and watching ice hockey.
