Cat has worked at Community Vision for over 25 years and was appointed President in May 2021. As President she provides vision and leadership in pursuit of Community Vision’s mission and ensures that the organization continues to implement impactful lending programs and high-quality consulting services.
Prior to stepping into the President role, Cat served as Community Vision’s Senior Vice President of Programs, leading all lending, consulting, and grantmaking activities. Cat also held a variety of positions at Community Vision, including Loan Associate, Loan Officer, Senior Loan Officer, and Deputy Director of Lending in which she was responsible for coordinating daily lending operations and managing all aspects of loan production. Cat acted as the first program manager for Community Vision’s Nonprofit Space Capital Fund and directed special projects. During her career as a lender, Cat closed transactions totaling more than $155MM, including NMTC allocations in excess of $37MM, and NMTC leverage lending in excess of $28MM. Between 2011 and 2014, Cat was Director of Healthy Food Programs at Capital Impact Partners, a national CDFI, where she directed CIP’s national healthy food lending programs. At Capital Impact, she also played a significant role in Capital Impact’s capital raising efforts, developing proposals that resulted in over $49MM in committed capital.
Cat earned a master’s degree in City Planning from University of California, Berkeley, and a
bachelor’s degree in Government and Politics from University of Maryland Honors Program, College Park. She has completed the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s Community Development Banking School and OFN’s Healthy Foods Financing training. She has numerous board/volunteer affiliations.
