Sarah Mullinax Schaadt (she/her) serves as a Senior Loan Officer with Community Vision, bringing nearly 20 years of commercial finance and real estate industry expertise to our team.
Early in her career, she began managing loan portfolios of mid- to large-size healthcare clients for the institution currently known as Ally Bank. More recently, during her 5+ year tenure as VP with Amalgamated Bank, she oversaw the West Coast construction loan portfolio through successful project completion. She was then selected for the Climate Finance team as sole underwriter for the bank’s Commercial PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) financing portfolio.
During her portfolio management and underwriting roles with New Resource Bank, Amalgamated Bank, Pacific Coast Banker’s Bank (PCBB) and Bank of Marin, she developed an in-depth knowledge of the nuances nonprofit lending entails. She has a passion for socially responsible lending and environmentally friendly community development.
Alongside her professional achievements, Sarah maintains a deep commitment to community service with 22 combined years of dedicated volunteer experience, most recently as Chair of the CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) SF Finance Committee.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a double minor in both Economics and Metalsmithing / Jewelrymaking, demonstrating her talents in the fields of both art and math. Outside of work, she is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, camping, painting, writing, and spending quality time with her daughter.
