Neighborhood Thrift Store – The Fresno store operates as a funding mechanism for a job-training program for members of the local community. The program emphasizes the importance of honorable work and economic empowerment as essential to human dignity.
Stagebridge – STAGEBRIDGE is the nation’s oldest Senior Theatre Company in Oakland. The organization uses theatre and storytelling to bridge the generation gap and to stimulate positive attitudes toward aging.
Swan’s Marketplace – An historic commercial space in Oakland that is expanding its retail component to incorporate restaurants and fresh food oriented businesses to serve and employ residents in a low-income community.
