Community Vision is proud to have supported two affordable housing projects featured in this month’s Affordable Housing Finance magazine; Habitat for Humanity’s Daly City project and Oakland’s Lower San Antonio neighborhood Clinton Commons.
Habitat for Humanity’s 36-unit condominium in Daly City is recognized for its evolution of multifamily development that steps outside of the organization’s usual single-family homeownership model. Community Vision allocated over $10 million in New Market Tax Credits that generated $2 million in equity valuation to the project. Read the full article here. (pdf)
Oakland’s Clinton Commons is a Family Finalist for the 2013 Reader’s Choice Award for the nation’s top developments of 2012 and 2013. The project serves families earning between 30 percent and 60 percent of the area median income and is home to 11 individuals and families with special needs. Community Vision provided a predevelopment grant and acquisition financing for the project. The winners will be announced in September. Read the full article here. (pdf)
