The Community Vision is pleased to announce that JPMorgan Chase will be the Presenting Sponsor for our 8th Annual Educational Event. As the Presenting Sponsor, JPMorgan Chase has committed a $25,000 sponsorship.
The event will be held at the Ed Roberts Campus at the Ashby BART station. This year’s topic, “Transit-Oriented Development – What’s the Buzz” will feature a lively panel discussion, facilitated by Lydia Tan, current Community Vision Board member and Vice President of Related California.
Our panelists will include Oz Erickson, Chairman of The Emerald Fund, a real estate developer in the bay area since 1979. He is also a board member of the San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association.
Joining Oz will be Claudia Cappio who will speak about the planning aspects of TOD and the governmental opportunities. Ms. Cappio served for seven years as the Director of Planning, Building and Major Projects with the City of Oakland, primarily working with then-Mayor Jerry Brown. She is now the principal of Sparticles, LLC.
Finally, Dmitri Belser, current President of the Ed Roberts Campus and Executive Director with the Center for Accessible Technology, will discuss his success with the development and completion of the Ed Roberts Campus, our host for the event.
Community Vision and several partners collaborated to provide a $43 million financing package to bring this project to fruition. JP Morgan Chase was the lead investor in this partnership.
The Community Vision’s annual spring event will include an audience of clients, investors and funders. It will be an opportunity to learn about the impact made by a diverse group of agencies we have consulted with and/or made loans to in the past year. It is also a chance to forge new relationships, and to meet new people in the nonprofit and banking industries.
Other corporate sponsorships are available at the $10,000, $5,000, $3,000 and $1,000 levels. In addition, there are individual sponsorship opportunities available and start at $500.
