Based in Daly City, Breathe California, Golden Gate Public Health Partnership (Breathe CA) is dedicated to fighting lung disease and promoting public health in local communities. Recognizing that low-income communities are particularly impacted by environmental hazards, including toxic housing conditions and lack of access to health care, Breathe CA works to provide education to assist individuals in preventing and managing lung disease, including smoking prevention and asthma management for children. Community Vision provided Breathe CA with a working capital loan to help the organization maintain stable operations while it awaits funder reimbursements.
