The Community Vision is proud to announce that Andrea Papanastassiou has accepted the position of Deputy Director of Real Estate Consulting.  Previously, Andrea was the Director of Real Estate Development for Eden Housing in Hayward, one of the Bay Area’s most effective and successful affordable housing organizations.

Before joining Eden Housing, Andrea spent nine years at Mid-Peninsula Housing Coalition, where she developed more than 600 affordable apartments for families and seniors in San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and Napa counties, and supervised a development pipeline of 1,300 apartments and homes in seven Greater Bay Area counties. Her projects have won design awards from Sustainable San Mateo County, Pacific Coast Builders Conference, and Builder Magazine.

Andrea attended Brown University where she received a Dual B.A. with Honors in Environmental Studies and Urban Studies. She also earned her M.A. in Urban Planning at the UCLA Graduate School of Public Policy and Social Research.

In addition to Andrea’s new position, we are also proud to announce that Joanne Lee, Community Vision’s Director of Financial Consulting and Program Development, has been promoted to Director of Consulting Services. She will oversee the entire Consulting Department for Community Vision, which includes financial management and real estate consulting.  Joanne has over twenty years of experience working in nonprofit organizations, including Chinatown Community Development Center, where she served as the Deputy Director of Operations.

Joanne has a B.A. in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley, and a M.A. in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
