CARS™ is a CDFI Assessment and Ratings System and is the only comprehensive, third-party assessment of a CDFI’s financial strength and performance and, most importantly, level of community impact. Community Vision is one of only five CDFIs to receive a AAA1 rating, the highest rating possible.

A CARS™ assessment includes past performance, current financial position, and risk factors in the future. Ratings are based on five years of historical performance. With a CARS™ rating, investors can confidently assess CDFIs that match their social objectives and risk parameters.
