Everyone at the Community Vision was shocked to hear the sad news of the unexpected passing of San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee this morning.
Mayor Lee was a strong believer in the work of Community Vision, partnering with us on numerous initiatives through the years that promoted nonprofit stabilization and ownership, place-based and equitable development, and the promotion of affordable housing development.
“Mayor Lee was an ardent supporter of equitable community development,” said Mary Rogier, Community Vision president. “The impact of his commitment to the people of San Francisco will live on for many years to come.”
