We are thrilled to welcome Alondra Williams-Vasquez as Community Vision’s new Fresno Regional Manager. She brings more than twenty years of experience in nonprofit business development, community outreach, strategic partnership cultivation, and urban planning to her role.
For more than a decade we’ve built partnerships, deployed capital, and provided strategic guidance to support a range of community development projects throughout the Central Valley. We are only able to do this work because of the partnerships we’ve cultivated and continue to build throughout the region. Growing up in Fresno, Alondra brings her experience and expertise to amplify local power-building efforts and support people in achieving their visions for themselves and their communities.
“I am especially passionate about supporting people of color in developing their businesses and themselves as leaders in the community,” said Alondra. “I’m thrilled to join Community Vision and look forward to what we can accomplish together.”
Raised by a single mother in SouthWest Fresno, Alondra is passionate about increasing affordable housing, access to quality education, supporting re-entry, and improving health and food access in the area.
Prior to joining Community Vision, she worked with the City of Fresno’s Planning and Development Division where she was the first and only recipient of the Director’s Award. Alondra holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master degree in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University.
