Sabrina R. Kelley joins Community Vision as Vice President of External Relations

We are excited to welcome Sabrina R. Kelley as Community Vision’s Vice President of External Relations. In this newly created role, Sabrina will be the first member of our leadership team to be based out of Fresno and will lead our resource development, external relations, and impact measurement work.

Sabrina is an advocacy strategist, community relations expert, and brings more than a decade of experience in broadcast news and communications, strategic partnership development, philanthropy, affordable housing, and equitable community development to her role.

For more than two decades, Community Vision has deployed capital, provided strategic guidance, and cultivated partnerships to support a critical ecosystem of nonprofits, small businesses, and social enterprises throughout the Central Valley. As a third generation Fresnian, Sabrina’s unique career history will support Community Vision in further growing our reach and impact in the region.

“I’m passionate about holistic community development and using my expertise in relationship-building to help communities find solutions, build power, and activate their full potential,” said Sabrina. “I’m thrilled to join Community Vision and look forward to mobilizing the resources needed to support disinvested communities.”

Prior to joining Community Vision, Sabrina was a Community Relations Leader and Philanthropy Officer for the Wells Fargo Foundation where she managed housing, small business development, financial literacy, and human services grantmaking portfolios serving the Central Valley.

Sabrina holds a Master’s of Public Health degree from California State University, Fresno, and holds dual Bachelor degrees in English Arts and Letters and Journalism and Mass Communications from California State University, Fresno. She is a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Interdisciplinary Research Leaders Fellow, and serves on the Board of Commissioners for the Fresno Housing Authority, and Board of Directors for United Way Fresno, Fresno Metro Ministry, and the Southwest Fresno Development Corporation. Finally, Sabrina serves under two mayoral appointments: on the City of Fresno’s Transformative Climate Communities Operations and Oversight Committee and Mayor Dyers’ One Fresno Advisory Committee, which focuses on building diversity, equity, and inclusion in Fresno.
