Kshama Kanakoor, Financial Management Consultant

Kshama joins Community Vision as a Financial Consultant. In her role, she supports Community Vision’s clients with financial management, organizational capacity building, and strategy. Born and raised in India, she started her career as an Accountant and has worked for two of the Big 4 Accounting firms. Kshama’s passion for social causes led her to pursue a Master’s in Social Entrepreneurship & Change from Pepperdine University. In 2016, she founded an enterprise with a dual mission to provide employment to low-income women in India and to teach children human values through the use of dolls and story books. Kshama strongly believes that a person’s access to quality education, healthcare, and employment opportunities should not be determined by their zip code, and is passionate about addressing these inequities through her work. Camila Andrea Mena, Grants Program Associate
Camila joins Community Vision as Grant Program Associate. In her role, she supports the administration and implementation of Community Vision’s grantmaking programs elevating organizations working to advance social justice. For Camila, it is important that BIPOC communities are listened to and empowered to lead change. She is engaged in this work because she believes that everyone deserves a good quality of life and an opportunity to achieve their dreams. She brings to Community Vision a passion for economic equity and restorative justice. Before joining Community Vision, Camila was a fellow at the Latino Community Foundation where she worked on optimizing the internal use of Salesforce and supported the Latino Giving Circle Network program. Camila was born in Bogota, Colombia and migrated to the Bay Area at 12 years old. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in sociology from the UC Berkeley and Masters degree in Urban and Public Affairs from the University of San Francisco.
